Protea Cottage has a fully enclosed garden and is set on the mountainside of Pringle Bay, and whilst neighbours are close by it's a private and quiet location. The cottage offers beautiful mountain views and limited long distant sea views of Cape Point and Cape Town.
The cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds.
The first bedroom features a queen-size bed. The second bedroom features a double bed and the third bedroom features 2 single beds. Guests' are required to bring their own linen. Duvet inners, pillows and hand towels are providedas well as blankets for winter. There are 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin and the second bathroom has a bath and toilet. The cottage also features a hot and cold-water outdoor shower for after a day at the beach.
The cottage comprises a large indoor braai and an open-plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a Smeg oven and stove, a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for guests convenience. There is also a large dining table and chairs in the kitchen/lounge area. There is a flat screen ( not smart )TV for watching your own live streamed movies.
We have WIFI (subject to loadshedding capacity by service provider) for your personal/work-from-home use.
The house is fully secured by clearview fence and electric fence and beams. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
The deck comes equipped with a large umbrella and a table and chair. There are stairs to the garden. and as such small children must be supervised at all times when on the deck.
Guests can relax in the garden which has a pergola and recliners. The beach is just 1.3 km away and the village, with shops and restaurants, is located 1.7 km away.
Pringle Bay is situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere - we actively encourage responsible tourism and respect for our local Baboon troop as well as all other fauna and flora.
Note: Dogs are welcome - 2 maximum the non-barking variety so as not to irritate neighbours.
Linen is not included so guests need to bring their own. We do provide duvet inners, pillows and blankets.
There is an additional R450 pre-clean fee.
