Perched on the 5th floor in the quiet Melrose Village - kitted with a pool and your own secure parking bay. It boasts a gorgeous kitchen and open living space. A perfect beach 'escape' just 20minutes outside the city.
This 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is cozy and homely but also beautifully modern. The furniture and pictures lining the walls are from many different, interesting places and were mostly collected on our travels to Asia, giving the apartment a unique Asian feel.
Melrose Haven Apartment is a luxury self-catering apartment perched high above Muizenberg. This 5th floor apartment has great sea and mountain views, a sunny location with access to a swimming pool below and is just 50m away from the beach and Surfers’ corner.
Muizenberg is an incredibly unique place, a sort of hidden gem. It is just 20 minutes outside the main city but it is easy to feel like you're on holiday as soon as you hit the False Bay coast. The area is constantly developing and now boasts a range of trendy, delicious restaurants like the original Tiger's Milk, Knead bakery and Live Bait. It's also home to lesser known restaurants like Yoffi Falafel for the best falafel in the city and Bombay Chili for authentic Indian food. The village itself is alive with art and culture and if you find yourself in town on a Friday, you cannot miss the local market brimming with delicious, fresh food and South African clothing and jewellery brands.
Getting Around:-
The apartment is a two minute walk from the Metro Rail - the cheapest way to get around. It takes you all the way to scenic Simon's Town and straight into Cape Town CBD (about a 45 minute train ride).
There are local taxis etc. but Uber is highly recommended and readily available in the area.
Other Things to Note:-
If you find yourself in town on a Friday, you cannot miss the local market brimming with delicious, fresh food and South African clothing and jewellery brands.

Description:
This is a one bedroom/2 bathroom apartment (1 x ensuite), that can sleep up to two guests. From the main bedroom you have a spectacular sea view and your own balcony.
Fully equipped modern kitchen (microwave, fridge / freezer, oven & hob), a big lounge with a sleeper couch and a communal swimming pool complete our house.
On a weekly basis we do have a cleaning service which brings you new linen and towels.
No children under 16 years of age.
