"We spent three nights at Cheviot Place Guest House, and from the time we booked, James was very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and places to see while in Cape Town. Our room had great views over Table Bay and Greenpoint and was comfortable, although the alcove where the tea and coffee were was rather small and cramped. Breakfast was prepared by James to order and very generous, and James was a very attentive and helpful host. The location is good for exploring the V&A and not too far from the sightseeing bus routes. We would certainly consider returning there for future visits."

It felt like we were at home, and the staff were friendly and very cheerful. Thanks to James and his support staff for a wonderful and memorable stay in Cape Town. Needless to say, Cheviot Place is now our favourite guesthouse and we shall make it our regular place whenever in Cape Town. Thanks James and Co."
