Nestled between the beautiful red dunes of the Kalahari and the remains of the Auob River lies the Kalahari Auob Camp.
We offer guests a choice between en-suite rooms at the main farmstead and luxury tents on the bank of the, now dry, Auob River. The en-suite rooms offer guests luxuries like air-conditioning, Nespresso coffee machines and easy access to the swimming pool and Wi-Fi, while the bushveld tents offer luxuries from mother nature like complete silence and open spaces.
Establishment facilities include a swimming pool, braai area, lounge and dining area and an honesty bar.
We are the ideal spot to start or end your Namibian holiday! Set between the beautiful red dunes of the Kalahari, guests are welcome to roam the area by foot and enjoy a sundowner on the dunes. Star gazing during the evenings are also a must see for all guests!
Please note:
*** All rooms are non smoking.
*** We offer a delicious breakfast to all our guests at an additional cost. Light lunches are available only if guests pre-book. Dinner is a set menu which includes a main coarse as well as a dessert at an additional cost. Please remember to let us know if you have any special needs (i.e. allergies, vegetarian, vegan).
*** The tents do not have air conditioning so please be mindful when booking them during the months of November to February. *** All tents are 2,5 km from the main house where all the meals are served.
*** High rising (Duster, Cross polo, etc.) or 4 x 4 vehicles are required to reach the tents.
***Any type of car can reach the rooms.
