The Hout Bay Hideaway is a small, luxurious guest house accommodating a maximum of 8 guests in 4 beautifully decorated and furnished suites.
Only a few minutes’ walk to the beach, restaurants and shops of Hout Bay yet only a 20 minutes easy drive from the centre of Cape Town, making Hout Bay the ideal location for visiting all the major attractions of Cape Town and The Cape, and The Hideaway the ideal place for a little rest and relaxation.
All accommodation is in oversized guest rooms with ensuite shower rooms, fluffy robes, king sized beds or extra-long twins, the choice is yours, dressed in crisp percale linen, comfy armchairs and are furnished with Art Deco and Victorian antiques with just a hint of Africa.
French doors open onto decks and veranda with stunning views of ocean, bay, mountains and gardens.
The Bay View Suite has a private deck with views of the ocean, mountains and harbour.
The Sky Light and The Sentinel Suites open onto a large wraparound veranda with views of the ocean, mountains and gardens.
The Garden Suite opens onto a private patio and garden area.
Each suite has its own digital safe, Wi-Fi internet, individual satellite TV, DVD and CD player with a wide choice of music. Kitchenettes, fireplaces, under-floor heating throughout, including the bathrooms and heated towel rails.
Welcome drinks on arrival, unlimited teas and coffee and 24 hours Wi-Fi ADSL/broadband access are all 'on the house'.
All rooms have direct access to a large, wild, long established garden filled with indigenous trees and bushy fynbos. There's a solar heated salt-water pool, two sun-decks with parasols, comfortable teak chairs and tables and a shady veranda, perfect to have breakfast, enjoy the breath-taking scenery or simply relax in one of the hammocks.
As a final touch, relax in the Victorian bath set under the ferns and gaze at The Milky Way!
