Summerhill Estate a culinary retreat with unpretentious vibes overlooking Durban and the Indian Ocean.
Established in 1997, we’ve successfully accomplished a combination of casual ambience paired with professionalism in hospitality. Family owned and run by a German family, you are guaranteed dedicated assistance, attention to detail and lots of warmth and caring.
With 16 individually designed, fully air-conditioned and spacious rooms spread across 13.000 square meters of park like gardens, you will find your perfect match. Additional services include: the Living Room supper club, a conference room, transport services, babysitting, children's play area, a library and laundry service. Just a little fact for you – each room and suite has been named after a South African jazz player that has stayed and/or played here before.
In-Room facilities include: tea/coffee maker, air-conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobe, minibar, desk, ironing facilities, seating area, bathroom amenities, patio, ensuite extra long beds (> 2 metres), bath/shower, carpeted, flat screen TV, sofa, wake-up service, wardrobe/closet, garden view, terrace, clothes rack, board games/puzzles and free Wi-Fi.
