The village is well situated to access all the major attractions the region has to offer, located half way between Onrus River and Hermanus, at the entrance to the Hemel & Aarde Valley with its magnificent wineries.
There are four units for guests to choose from; 3 first floor units and one ground floor garden unit.
Two units accommodate up to two people, with the Garden Unit taking up to four people and the Family Unit taking up to eight people. The units have private bathrooms with showers only as well as lounge areas and kitchenettes ideal for self-catering. Both the Jono Unit and Cara Unit are on the first floor and have off-street parking, while the ground floor Garden Unit and the first floor Family Unit both have parking inside on the lawn.
Unit facilities include:
- Electric blankets.
- Living area with couch, premium DSTV, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi internet.
- Fully equipped kitchenette with a counter seating for 2.
- Cara & Jono units have 2 plate oven/stoves.
- Garden & Family units have 4 plate oven/stoves and microwaves.
- Cara & Jono units have communal BBQ areas and equipment.
- Garden & Family units have private BBQ areas and equipment.

The working environment at Hornbill Ceramic Studio is conducive to the design and creation of inspirational art. Experience our gift shop, filled with decorative pieces by our own ceramics, local and other artists. Be inspired by ethnic art and craft with unique and original designs. Other than the full range of our commercial pieces supplied to other outlets, the gallery also displays originals works (sculptures, tiles and panels) by Erna Dry. See the many Kente, Kuba and Mud cloths, Dogon Doors, Wooden Sculptures, Bennin Bronz and Taureg Jewelry. At hornbill Garagiste Winery a limited volume of hand crafted wine is made with passion by family and friends. The wine is produced in true Garagiste tradition, from selected grapes, sourced from vineyards in the Hemel & Aarde Valley Limited interference, makeshift tanks and equipment as well as the absence of modern technology, helps to produce a unique artisan wine.
