Cowrie Lodge is situated in Praia da Barra on a tall dune offering the most spectacular view over the pristine Barra beaches - and beyond to the coastline of Morumbene. The lodge has a sandy walkway to the beach and is very private. The accommodation comprises quaint reed and grass self-catering chalets sleeping 6 guests in the main house, 4 guests in the casita adjoining the main house (shared kitchen) and 4 guests in the chalet (one bedroom en-suite with open plan kitchen/lounge area which has sleeper couches.
From the deck, guests can watch a variety of beach and sea activites, from whale and dophin spotting to local fishing fleets returning to shore with the freshest of fish.
