Stellenview Luxury Cottage offers the discerning traveller a country stay experience within walking distance (less than 1.3 kilometres) from the historic centre of Stellenbosch. This luxury cottage is situated next to a beautiful farm overlooking Stellenbosch, the surrounding mountains & vineyards.
Stellenview Luxury Cottage can sleep up to 2 people.
Come & relax on the spacious patio on the loungers or dine at the 4-seater table shaded by a roof which can open / close while taking in your surroundings & sipping on a glass of SA’s best.
Stellenview Luxury Cottage has an open plan lounge & kitchen that opens onto the spacious patio with large windows so that you can even enjoy the breath-taking views while inside from the kitchen or lounge. To assure absolute comfort on those warm summer days you can make use of the air-conditioning, carefully placed in the lounge so that it also cools down the bedroom. The sun is not always shining here in sunny SA, thus the apartment is also fitted with under floor heating as well as a cosy built-in fireplace (fire wood for 1st burning is supplied, there after it’s for your own account).
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge, built-in hob with oven as well as a washer & dryer, thus you do not have to go to the Laundromat to do your laundry. Braai / barbeque facilities is available as well as the utensils is supplied. For your convenience coffee, tea, sugar & milk sachets are supplied on arrival.
The lounge is fitted with comfortable chairs, a Television with all DSTV (Satellite) Channels as well as a surround sound DVD system (not connected to TV only for DVD / CD’s & Radio).
The en-suite bedroom (suitable for 2 adults only) has a Queen Extra Length bed fitted with crisp 100% Cotton Percale linen; it has a built-in cupboard with a digital safe installed as well as an alarm clock. Crisp white towelling Robes & Slippers are provided to make you feel more at home.
Stellenview’s ensuite bathroom offers true relaxation…..twin basins, large corner bath, spacious shower complete with Gordon Purdy toiletries & crisp white towels.
Off-street parking is available. The cottage is fitted with burglar proofing as well as sliding security doors, thus you can enjoy fresh air even while taking a nap on the couch.
This country living experience so close to the Historic Dorp Street of Stellenbosch (the 2nd oldest town in SA) not only offers a delighted stroll to town to enjoy the wonderful culinary delights & shops, but also offers the more adventurous traveller the experience of taking the 2 mountain bikes that is supplied & explore the various routes from the cottage through the neighbouring farm & up the Stellenbosch Mountain (1175m high). Bird lovers are welcome to bring their binoculars to view the variety of bird life seen from the cottage.
Stellenview Luxury Cottage has also been graded 4 Stars by the Tourism Grading Council Of SA & also offers their guest the service of booking accommodation in other towns, tours, airport transfers / car rental & even safaris upon booking.
