Dunwoodie Travel Lodge is a real "Home away from Home" - we always try to have a warm and friendly atmosphere and we are always trying to meet all our guests' requirements. The availability of ensuite rooms makes Dunwoodie Travel Lodge a comfortable venue for small to medium sized groups seeking accommodation on one premise.
We have a variety of Double, Sharing and Family Rooms, all of which are ensuite and stylishly furnished.
The rooms are all equipped with a flat screen TV with 8 DSTV channels, a bar fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. Soft bedding and towels are available in each room. There is also a small safe to keep belongings safe.
Establishment facilities:
- We provide secure parking for vehicles on the premises.
- A shuttle service is available.
- We also have a conference venue which seats from 60 to 80 people. Our conference and seminar venues on the premises are very popular with small to medium sized groups. With warm, friendly, professional and attentive service we guarantee a superb event. Conference Facilities & Equipment include: Big screen projector, air-conditioning, podium, e-mail & internet, photocopier and ladies & gents bathrooms.
Lying in the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains, to the east of Rietfontein and not far away from the centre of Pretoria, Waverley is a well-serviced pretty little suburb heading north-east out of the city. Dunwoodie Travel Lodge is situated in the peaceful and quiet area of Waverley with quick and easy access to Pretoria CBD, Loftus Versveld, CSIR, Transnet Koedoespoort, Samcor, SAPS Logistic and the N1 and N4 and other byways enroute to Centurion and Johannesburg to the South, Mpumalanga to the East and the North West Province to the West. OR Tambo International Airport is 56 km away while Wonderboom and Waterkloof Airports are on our doorstep. We are also close to the Botanical Gardens. University of Pretoria is only 6.7 km away, UNISA Headquarters is 9.5 km away and Netcare Pretoria East is a mere 13 km away.
