State-of-the-art en-suite bathrooms with under floor heating helps to make your stay comfortable.
You can enjoy an excellent breakfast served under the projecting branches of a majestic 19th century oak while looking over the picturesque grounds of the estate. Relax on your patio while enjoying a glass of wine, have a swim in the large heated pool or take a leisurely stroll in our park to watch the birdlife around the dam and our small Eco-Reserve. For the one who still needs a special souvenir we have a small curio shop with hand selected artwork exclusively for our guests.
For your convenience there is one of the best restaurants in town just across the road. The Swellendam Golf Course with its beautiful panoramic view to the mountains is just minutes away.
Swellendam is not only a very attractive stopover between Cape Town and the Garden Route, but because of its fortunate position it is a preferred starting point for various sight-seeing tours to different attractions and activities in your holiday. The Drostdy Museum well known for its performance of the history of South Africa's settlers comprises various different buildings from that time, the Bontebok National Park, De Hoop and Marloth Nature Reserve for lovers of nature and the most southern tip of Africa - Cape Aghulas, to name just a few.
