The lodge is located in Southern Mozambique, 106 km from Maputo the capital of Mozambique and about 20 km from the South African border, Kosi Bay. It is situated 250 m from the famous and unforgettable Frederico beach by the warm Indian Ocean on the Baleia Azul Estate, Ponta Mamoli.
The lodge is located in a rich natural garden that is usually full of birds and monkeys.
It overlooks a beautiful green valley and is just close enough to the ocean to hear it but not for it to be disturbing.
The lodge consists of 4 luxury chalets. They are connected by wooden walkways. Each chalet has its own patio. Inside the chalets you'll find two very comfortable single beds that make one king size bed and two single beds in the loft for children, sleeping a maximum of 4.
Each chalet is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee station, mini bar fridge, and a safe. The bathroom consists of a toilet, basin and shower with hot water.
The main house is connected to each chalet by the same wooden walkway and consists of an extremely well equipped kitchen with a gas top stove and electrical oven.
The kitchen is connected to the TV room with a flat screen TV and DSTV leading to a reading area with a balcony overlooking a beautiful valley. Both rooms lead onto the upper deck where you can find a table that can accommodate 20 people as well as an outside sitting area and cold Jacuzzi. The whole area is lit by solar panel lighting
The lower deck has beautiful green surroundings with a swimming pool, braai area, meeting area and bar.The back side of the lodge you can find an open camping area next to a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin
The lodge has secure free parking that can accommodate up to five cars.
Our friendly staff are responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of the lodge. If anything breaks or you need anything additional all you need to do is ask.
The surrounding area within a radius of 7 km is brimming with restaurants and bars. You'll find surfing, diving and fishing charters in Ponto de Oro or great low tide fishing straight from a beach 5 minutes walk away.
Social activities at the lodge and around consist of, snorkeling, diving, dune climbing, fishing, whale and dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, beach volley ball, walking trails, bird watching, ax throwing, knife throwing, archery, and lake fishing and 4 x 4 quad driving.
