‘Milorho’ is the traditional Tsonga word for ‘dreams’ or ‘dreamer’. If you love the peace and tranquillity of nature and mountainous areas then you are indeed in for a treat as a nature lover, and our “place of dreams” is definitely for you.
We have 5 luxurious cottages which have been awarded a four star rating by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
The cottages are situated in a beautifully wooded area on the foothills of the Magaliesburg, all within 100 meters of the rock pools.
In-room facilities include a fireplace, self-catering facilities and private bathrooms.
Establishment facilities include BBQ, picnic area and free parking.
We have two stunning Green flag accredited hiking trails, 5km and 12km.
Please note:
*** Check-in: 2pm – 5pm. Check-out: 10am.
*** Non-smoking rooms.
*** No pets allowed.
*** Milorho Lodge is a fully self-catering lodge.
*** We don’t offer any cleaning services during your stay, however whether possible this could be arranged prior to your arrival at an additional cost. Kindly leave the cottage in a clean condition upon departure.

The area is tranquil, peaceful, beautiful and it is developing into a nature reserve without the roaming animals for now, except the bird species simply exploding in the bush. The hiking trails, rock pool and pool area in the camping site with an abundance of braai areas makes this a nature lovers paradise. The chalets are well spaced and even the connecting doors are sound proof. Management and staff build a good relationship with guests and the trust and honesty displayed by them is seldom experienced in other resorts.
