Goulden Street Guest house was established in 2002 and comprised of 3 rooms. The original building is close to 100 years in age. The Quigney is very old and quaint suburbs of East London. The streets are wide and a lot of the homes have been renovated tastefully.
We fell in love with the Quigney and noticed a real demand for accommodation in our area.
The guest house has grown from 3 rooms to 16 in just over 7 years. We have well trained staff that assists us in the day to day running of the business. We have managed to maintain a winning formula as our guests always come back to stay. We have a diversified client base that re- in forces our commitment to our guests “we cater for all of their needs”.
Our units comprise 2-3 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Each rooms has its own TV as well as there being a TV and DSTV in the main lounge. Each unit has a fully self-catering kitchen, off street parking for 1-2 vehicles, Wi-Fi and braai facilities. Our units are tastefully decorated and have a homely, comfortable atmosphere. We have a pool and braai area at one of the 3 bedroom units which is perfect for families.
Our conference area can seat up to 50 people. It is perfect for product launches, company training and small functions. We have a digital projector and white boards available for corporate functions. Light snacks, refreshments and teas/coffees are also on offer for all conference functions.
