Nestled at the foot of the Makhonjwa Mountain, Fountain Baths was built in 1884 as a bathhouse for the gold miners. It boasts as being the first swimming pool in the old Transvaal. Lush gardens make it a birders paradise and vervet monkeys, porcupines and bush babies are regular visitors.

All accommodation is B&B, with 4 cottages which have full cooking facilities, each en suite and all with their own separate entrances into the gardens. Cottages sleep 1-4 persons, 20 persons in total.

We are situated next to the museum, and within walking distance of the town.
