Lidwala is widely regarded as Swaziland's best Backpackers Lodge. Beautifully located on the slopes of Sheba's Breast mountain, and with a stunning view over the Ezulwini Valley and Mdzimba hills, it is nestled among large boulders (hence its name), indigenous trees and a flowing stream.
Lidwala is creatively designed with spacious verandas and offers a degree of exclusivity at budget rates.
In-Room facilities include: tea/coffee maker, minibar, shower, iron, balcony, radio, refrigerator, sitting area, fan, toilet, microwave, private bathroom, heating, satellite channels, kitchen, bathtub or shower, fireplace, interconnecting room(s) available, laptop safe, and tile/marble floors.
Towels and bed linen are offered at Lidwala Lodge. Other facilities at Lidwala Lodge include an outdoor pool. Fully equipped communal kitchen. Friendly, helpful staff always available. There is a salon and spa on site offering a range of treatments.
House rules:
1. Please clean after yourself at all times (make your mother proud)!
2. Under no circumstances will vandalism or violence be tolerated or abuse to staff and fellow guests.
3. All facilities are to be utilised in a manner consistent with the purpose for which they were designed.
4. Do not take or use other personal property without permission.
5. Noise pollution policy; quiet hours are from 22h00 – 08h00.
6. Pre-consent with manager on duty is required before bringing an outside visitor.
7. Outside visitors are not allowed after 17h00 and they are not allowed beyond the balcony.
8. Please do not take cups, place etc. into the rooms.
9. Guests shall not turn on the lodge’s stove, tap and then forget about it.
10. Important rule, if you are not sure, ask.
11. The shed living areas must be kept free of any personal clutter if not it will get thrown out as trash.
