Wild Fig Cottage situated in Sedgefield, the heart of the Garden Route. The Cottage is nestled in amongst the pine trees with panoramic views of the lakes and rivers below with the mountains as a glorious backdrop.
It is about 5 minutes from the Village on a bumpy farm road away from the noise and bustle of everyday living.
There are two bedrooms, the main one with a double bed and the smaller one with 2 singles allows the cottage to host a maximum of 4 people comfortably. One bathroom with a shower, a kitchen with all the necessities and a comfortable open plan lounge with TV and DVD recorder. A deck to sit out and enjoy the view and a private shaded garden with barbecue to relax in.
Being located in Sedgefield, time has officially been slowed down for your holiday, so take advantage of it and explore the only nationally declared Slow Town in the world. The river mouth is a stunning place to enjoy the beauty of the lagoon meeting the sea and a walk around the island a must. On Saturday mornings, the Farmers Market is famous across the country for it's amazing variety of authentic home crafted goods and special farmer's breakfast.
5 Minutes away, Cloud Nine offers some of the most scenic paragliding in the country. Gerickes Point, 10 minutes away is a stunning beach with safe swimming, excellent surfing and beautiful walks on the low tide. Myoli Beach, 10 minutes away is fast becoming a widely recognized Kitesurfing paradise with the guys from the Pili Pili Beach Bar located right there on Myoli Beach creating the whole kitesurfing vibe and making it a really interesting spot to visit, grab something to eat or have a sundowner.
