We offer real lodge tranquillity in town. Lion's Guesthouse is a well-established guesthouse on a 4800m2 property in Groblersdal, 500m from the central business district.
Lion's Guesthouse offers 9 rooms: 6 standard rooms and 3 big rooms.
All rooms have DSTV, a kettle and a microwave. The rooms are fitted with a different selection of beds: 2 x single beds, 2 x ¾ beds, 1 x double bed or 1 x king-size bed. Baby / toddler beds or an extra adult bed for the room are available on request.
Secure parking space is provided. The courtyard has a swimming pool and braai facilities for your use. The lounge area has a fully licensed sports bar (open daily 17h00 to 21h00, Saturday from 13h00 onwards). A pub menu is available (kitchen open till 20h30) and there is a TV and pool / snooker table. WIFI available. We have a huge garden, ideal to hide away with a book or catch the last bit of sun in the afternoon. All guests get their own remote control of the main gate to be able to enter and leave as they wish. All rooms, also in the main building, have outside doors.
All our prices include breakfast. Continental breakfast is served between 06h30 and 08h30. Lunch can be chosen from the bar menu or if we know it beforehand we will prepare a lunch pack for you which you can take with you after your breakfast. Dinner, as mom used to make it, is served everyday between 18h30 and 20h30. Guests who would like to have dinner must please inform us before 14h00. On Friday afternoons we offer pub lunches.
