Fraaigelegen Farm is just a 90 minute drive from Cape Town. Nestled under the majestic Witzenberg Mountains, in the Boland region of the Western Cape, the self-catering cottages are within easy reach of Tulbagh, Wolseley, Ceres and Prince Alfred's Hamlet, along the famous Route 62 Winelands route.
With stunning views over the Tulbagh valley to the Waterval and Winterhoek Mountains, our cosy self-catering farm accommodation makes us an ideal country escape close to Cape Town.
We grow vines and olives and you will enjoy discovering the abundance of birdlife on the farm. Come and visit Tulbagh, a wonderful country holiday destination.
Our 3 self-catering cottages (Shiraz, Cabernet & Olive) have 2 double bedrooms each and are fully equipped with top quality bed linen, towels and blanket. The kitchen has all the usual modcons incl. cutlery & crockery. In the Cabernet and Shiraz cottage, you will find spacious double showers. These two cottages have beautiful views over the dam, while Olive has fantastic views over the valley and mountain ranges. From Olive cottage you can enjoy the most fabulous sunset views. Olive is also our pet friendly cottage. The Witzenberg Mountains frequently turn pink around sunset, so head on to your veranda with a refreshing drink at hand and bask in the glorious sunsets.
Each rustic farm cottage has a cosy indoor fireplace plus its own private braai facilities. All you have to bring are your provisions so that you can sit back and enjoy the tranquillity of the country side. We also offer complimentary Wi-Fi on site. If you would like to do more than just relax and soak up the country peace, there are plenty of activities, restaurants and events in the surrounding towns of Tulbagh, Ceres and Wolseley. Guests are welcome to walk on the farm and enjoy the peace of country living.

"We came prepared with so much extra stuff expecting the normal stay over where its better to be prepared.
We were very surprised to find that nothing but our clothes and toiletries were needed.

Sunsets were amazing and we never felt that we were unsafe.
