The Honnehokke Resort now features special COVID 19 cleaning and sanitizing! HonneHokke Resort, previously known as Die Hondehok Chalets, is the oldest establishment in town (1993), and has been pointed out by various magazines as the most friendly holiday establishment and accommodation on the Namaqualand, West Coast:
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we offer you a tranquil oasis.
Here you can relax with a book (we have our own extensive library- however, not available during COVID 19), take long walks, go cycling, and watch the beautiful sunsets...
Our chalets are homely, comfortable, clean, and fully-equipped. Experience an exquisite sleep under one of our goose down duvets.
We can accommodate one to six guests at affordable prices.
Each chalet has a private paved braai area. For those who wish, they can also use the braai area at the swimming pool, with prior arrangement. It is now under roof, providing shelter from the famous West Coast wind.
We welcome your small breed socialized pets, as we know you love yours as much as we love ours. Please make arrangements.
We pride ourselves with the fact that we have the only under roof swimming pool in town where our guests (those not brave enough to face the cold waters of the ocean) can cool down.
Breakfast available on request. You are encouraged to make reservations before arrival. During COVID 19 pandemic, breakfast can be served in your chalet. Boxed meals also available for lunch and dinner.
