We have called our holiday accommodation in South Africa 'Blaaskans' which literally means: a moment to breathe, to revitalize yourself. That is exactly what you feel when you are staying in our accommodation.
The villa has 3 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom is the largest one, where you will find a double bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 is equipped with a superb four-poster bed and bay window that opens out onto the beautiful terrace. Bedroom 3 has two single beds. All the bedrooms are equipped with fans and air conditioning.
The villa has a large living room with bay windows on two sides, thanks to which you can enjoy the breathtaking views. In the living room, there are a comfortable L-shaped sofa, beautiful chairs and a fireplace. The living room is adjacent to the open space kitchen, fitted with 5 hobs gas cooker, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, American fridge with cold water and ice machine. In the space next to the kitchen, there is the scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. In conclusion, you dispose of all modern comfort.
Villa Blaaskans has two spacious fitted bathrooms, one of which is adjacent to the master bedroom. This bathroom contains a bathtub, a rain-shower and double wash basin. The bedrooms 2 and 3 share the other bathroom. Both bedrooms are adjacent to one of the outdoor showers with a breathtaking view on Drankensbergen en the bush.
Around the house, several terraces are at your disposal, equipped with sun loungers and a lounge-set by the private swimming pool. There is a double car port at the front of the villa.
Villa Blaaskans is located on its own nature reserve (Zandspruit) where you can encounter several animals (not dangerous). This is thus possible to run into a giraffe or a zebra during an evening walk. Even around the villa you can see wild animals (not dangerous). You can come very close to the animals.
You have a 5 minutes ride from the villa to the village of Hoedspruit. In the village, you will find everything you need; there are 2 supermarkets, 3 restaurants, one cyberspace and several clothing stores.
The village is surrounded by several nature reserves and it is thereby a very secure place. Villa Blaaskans is located 45 minutes ride from the famous Kruger Park and the Blyde River Canyon.
Here is a sample of the various activities you can book in the area (maximum 45 minutes ride):
- Evening safari en luxurious dinner by the Kapama Game Reserve.
- Hikes with lions in the Big 5 nature reserve by Tshukudu Game Reserve.
- Go on your own on a safari ride in the famous Kruger Park.
- To pet and feed an hippopotamus by Jessica the Hippo.
- Horseback riding through the nature by African Dream Horse Riding.
- To ride an elephant by Elephant Whispers.
- Hot air ballon flight above the landscapes of South Africa.
- To inform yourself and see animals from very close in the rehabilitation centre of Moholoholo.
- Breathtaking panoramas and undulating rocks formation in Blyde River Canyon.
All the above mentioned activities have to be booked by our person of contact to allow you to spend the most unforgettable holidays.
Total Care:
You will be accompanied the whole time for your trips out of the villa so you can enjoy your stay without worrying for anything. Thanks to a welcoming service - in the Netherlands and in South Africa - you can spend carefree holidays and have the most relaxing experience of your life. You will be welcomed on location after your flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. You will be brought to the car rental and accompanied to the villa. At the villa, you will be welcomed and you will receive all the information about the villa. Every Wednesday, the house is cleaned and the linen is changed. You can also give your clothes to be washed and ironed. After that, you can focus on the booking of the activities. We will also give you advice. We can fill in the fridge upon your arrival. Just tell us what you would like to have and on the day of your arrival, everything you ordered will be ready in the fridge.
In addition to all the activities, the villa is also the perfect place to relax. The villa is therefore ideal for a honey moon or for a halt during a tour around South Africa.
The rate is a weekly rate, for the whole villa, including: gas, water, electricity, cleaning, information folder, personal host on location.

There are three bedrooms in the villa. The master bedroom is the biggest bedroom. In this room there is a 2-person bed, and it is provided with a luxury bathroom.
The second bedroom has a 2-person four-poster bed, and is provided with a sliding door to the adjoining terrace.
The third bedroom has two 1-person beds.
All bedrooms are provided with fans and a climate-control system. All bedroom have a view on the bush.
