Far Away Place is a gay-owned self-catering cottage, offering beautiful views of our dam, an ideal spot for trout fishing. The property offers a large pine forest within the Karkloof Mountains. The cottage has gorgeous views of the dam and mountains and has its own braai facilities. Relax in the hammock chairs which hook up on the patio to enjoy the peace, views and splendour that is nature.
The cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms (one a loft room), 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a queen size bed while the second loft style bedroom contains a double and a single bed. All beds have 100% cotton percale linen. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Feel chilly? We offer electric blankets, fire place and gas heater.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, fridge freezer, convection microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a large wall mounted flat screen TV. There is no DSTV or a satellite dish, however, the TV is a Smart TV - so feel free to bring your own content or make use of the Netflix account we have loaded for the cottage.
