The original owners created Walkersons with a Scottish country manor feel, with natural stone and wood and lots of interesting nooks and crannies.
Walkersons is a haven of serenity in Mpumalanga, with elegant dining rooms, a gorgeous terrace, the cosy Peggy’s Bar and lovely lawns leading to the hidden swimming pool. Its stylish, old world country atmosphere continues in the bedroom suites, with elegant décor, tastefully appointed bathrooms and large verandas to enjoy the glorious views.
Whether you want to be thoroughly pampered or prefer the independence of self-catering, Walkersons Hotel & Spa has an option to match your taste.
Accommodation:
The hotel offers excellent accommodation with 27 hotel rooms made up of 14 Traditional Lakeside Suites with en-suite bathrooms and open fireplaces; 11 Contemporary Luxury Suites each with two bathrooms; a two-bedroom Manor Suite and a large contemporary Honeymoon Suite. We also offer 7 fully-furnished self-catering units.
Restaurant / Dining:
Dining at Walkersons Hotel & Spa becomes a celebration of the senses. It’s superior menus prepared by the award-winning Chaine Chef, Adri van Wieringen and his team utilise the freshest ingredients to create the finest dishes.
Culinary journey will introduce you to a variety of courses in the fireside intimacy of the dining room and spectacular wine from their award winning cellar.
The restaurant, with its superb level of cuisine, service and hospitality met the exacting standards of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs internationally and was awarded the coveted large brass plaque.
For those wanting a less formal affair, pop in to enjoy their famous tea and scones or enjoy the latest sports fixture while trying their equally delicious but informal Terrace menu.
Conference Venue:
And for the more business-minded folk, consider Walkersons for your executive meetings or conferences. The hotel has two dedicated conference venues available: the newly renovated Walker Room with excellent audio visual equipment, is able to accommodate 40-50 delegates depending on seating arrangements. While the Tapestry Room seats up to 16 delegates.

Thinking of a venue to tie the knot? Few occasions rival the romance of a country wedding and Walkersons Hotel & Spa is perfect to celebrate this time-honoured occasion.
This popular Dullstroom wedding venue, with its own chapel, courtyard and the Walker Room transformed into a sophisticated reception area, caters distinctively for exclusive weddings. To end your special day on that perfect note the hotel offers a night in the luxurious Honeymoon suite. Only a handful of brides per year will be able to book this venue for their special day as there are limited wedding weekends on offer.
Amani Spa:
For the seekers of peace and tranquillity, Amani Spa at Walkersons Hotel, embraced by nature as it is, is the perfect place for that ultimate self-indulgent escape - a feast for your soul and senses. BABOR, an exclusive international skin care range is used and is designed to meet a broad range of skin care needs.

A haven for the county-lover, you can enjoy long walks along the contoured pathways (even with a pram) and meander along a mountain stream which feeds a series of well stocked trout dams.

Canyon Cottage is unique in that it has it’s very own private picnic spot which is a short walk away … only for use by Canyon residents!
