"Die Kliphuis was our first stop on our journey from Johannesburg to Cape Town. It was also our first South African B & B. We deliberately wanted to use the less tourist travelled routes and we were not disappointed.

Die Kliphuis was a little haven of tranquilities. A few steps through a pretty little garden with a water fountain and straight into our room. Four poster bed and mounds of pillows and cushions. The main house full of antiques and with an excellent restaurant (and wine list). Staff very welcoming yet unobtrusive.
Safe walking distance into the town, 5 minutes or so. Security did not seem to be a local issue.

Highly recommend."
