It is situated in the heart of trendy Florida Road, Durban with its array of designer boutiques, cafes, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Bon Ami on Ninth is a guest house with a difference. From the street, one enters the garden via large rust-technique steel gates, passing through the small neat sub-tropical garden, over the old-fashioned black and white tiled veranda to wonderful spacious. It is open-plan grandeur.
The French doors are wide open to lead you onto a tiled patio and down a few stairs to the swimming pool and bar area.
