Die Ou Pastorie is a uniquely enchanting guest house and restaurant situated in Skeerpoort, Magaliesberg. Built around an original 1880’s pastoral home and set in magnificent gardens at the foot of one of the world’s oldest mountain ranges, it is a concept of creative consciousness. Infused with an ethos of fulfilment through nurture, indulgence and the creation of beautiful spaces, Die Ou Pastorie is a graceful salute to sensual nourishment.
Guests of Die Ou Pastorie are accommodated in eight individually appointed garden suites, all with views of the Magaliesberg Mountains. Each suite follows a unique theme, with funky, mismatching light fittings, materials and décor providing an eccentric yet welcoming ambience. All rooms are ensuite with private balconies, and embody both the serenity and vibrancy of Die Ou Pastorie.
Our team of passionate cooks & creators will have you salivating with a seasonal menu that showcases tantalizing reinventions of classic country-style cuisine, either in the charming, eclectic ambience of the original farmhouse, or among the trees in our garden.
Die Ou Pastorie offers the ideal environment for a romantic weekend respite from the world at large, or as a country base from which to explore the plethora of historic sites, cultural market places and adventure activities available in the area.
We also specialize in boutique music events and bespoke, personalised functions, from weddings to conferencing.
