Relax and enjoy the Karoo, wander around the farm while enjoying the various species of game on the farm.
Species to be found on the farm include, Gemsbok, Kudu, Zebra, Springbok, Klipspringer, Steenbuck, Duiker and many of the small animals such as porcupine, dassie, mongoose, meerkat, aardvark etc.
Take your mountain bike and either do the, not so challenging 2-spoor tracks, or the more challenging hiking track, there are over 30km of tracks to enjoy.
Visit the lonely grave of a British soldier, Pte. W Calver of the 16th Lancers, who died on Sep. 10, 1901.
Go on the fossil trail and see where the therocephalians ("beast-heads") diictodons and Pristerognathu lived 265 million years ago. Therocephalians are an extinct suborder of carnivorous eutheriodont therapsids that lived from the middle and late Permian into the Triassic 265.0—245.0 Ma, existing for approximately 20 million years ago.
Go for a braai with your partner at one of the picnic spots next to the Vlakkraal river.
When hot, you can take an authentic farm swim in our dam next to a windmill which has been refurbished for your enjoyment.
At night, you can sit under the Milky Way and either just enjoy the view, or take a myriad of pictures.

All chalets has been newly renovated. Each chalet is beautifully tented with a natural Karoo Stone wall. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms, and come equipped with linen, basic cutlery and crockery, a gas top cooker, a bar fridge, private braai area and outdoor table and chairs.
The Bush Camp also has a communal braai facility, lapa area and self-service bar. The Camp is surrounded various Wildlife, including Gemsbok, Zebra, Black Wildebeest, Blesbuck, White, Black and Karoo Springbok.

At Asserndelft lodge however this was a surprisingly great change! Perfectly clean and well decorated rooms with great staff. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was perfect and the price makes it all so much more suprising! From now on I will only stay there for my stop overs I have no need to explore different Accomodations in the Karoo any further"
