In prime position, deceptively far from distractions, on one of the oldest Huguenot estates in Franschhoek, (granted in 1694) this house was built for ultimate privacy. Surrounded by indigenous gardens and natural beauty as far as the eye can see, you’re actually only a short walk from the town hidden away below.
La Cotte Farm is uniquely situated a stone’s throw from the charming village of Franschhoek. It offers close proximity to the fun and bustle of the main street with all the quiet, privacy and rural charm of a working wine farm. Surrounded by lush vineyards, glorious mountains and unsurpassed views in all directions, the farm offers a range of accommodation, from 2 bedroom fully equipped self-catering cottages to a luxurious stately villa that sleeps 16. All designed and furnished to the highest levels of comfort, warmth and charm.
Main House:
There are 3 Main bedrooms with King sized beds and 3 en-suite bathrooms for each of the main bedrooms (2 with bath and shower, 1 with shower only). There is also a downstairs family room with 4 Single beds and a lounge area, and an en-suite bathroom with shower only. There is an open plan living room and kitchen with full kitchen facilities (Tea, coffee, sugar & milk are provided upon check-in), a patio with built-in braai overlooking vineyards, wood-burning fireplace and a 10x8m swimming pool.
Lake Cottage:
There are 2 Main bedrooms with King sized beds and 2 en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower. Tea, coffee, sugar & milk are provided upon check-in. There is a Tea station, fridge and wood-burning fireplace.
Pool House:
There is 1 daybed, bathroom with shower only, sauna, Tea station (Tea, coffee, sugar & milk provided upon check-in), fridge and a 10x8m swimming pool.
