The Andros is a gracious Cape Dutch homestead, dating from the early 1900's, set in 5000m2 of mature, park-like gardens.
Positioned in the heart of Claremont, one of Cape Town’s beautiful Southern Suburbs, The Andros has been lovingly restored and up-dated, carefully preserving its old-world charm.
The Andros offers 15 individually and elegantly furnished rooms, complete with soft linens, fresh flowers and fruit trays, and private patios. All bedrooms are complete with all of the amenities and luxuries typically expected of a deluxe 5 star hotel and these include climate controlled air-conditioning, flatscreen TV’s showcasing 12 channels, digital mini safes, fully stocked mini bar fridges, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary Wi Fi access throughout the property, under floor heating and luxurious Charlotte Rhys toiletries. Our luxury suites have separate baths and showers, each decorated to the highest standards.
Enjoy our beautiful and secluded pool. Every day does not need to be spent on the road sight-seeing. There is plenty of shade from the mature trees that surround the pool to get away from the sun. The large terrace provides the ideal spot from which to enjoy a quiet drink in the late afternoon. You can also enjoy a lovely meal outside on the terrace in the evenings. You are welcome to invite family or friends to join you.
Gourmet breakfasts are served on the sun-bathed terrace, overlooking the vast gardens and pool. Unwind after a busy day with an al fresco dinner and a glass of excellent Cape wine on the candle-lit patio or in the cosy dining room.
Whilst The Andros is less than 10 minutes from Cape Town’s historic centre and Waterfront, and only 20 minutes from the airport, it provides a peaceful and graceful “home away from home” to the discerning visitor and business traveller.
The Andros’ leafy gardens and personal charm also offer an elegant ambience for weddings, exclusive corporate and private functions.

Should our guests wish, we can with pleasure arrange transport / tours on their behalf.
