The Lighthouse Inn Bed & Breakfast and Self Cater situated high on Durban’s Bluff headland having Bed & Breakfast bedrooms within the guesthouse as well as separate Self Cater Units. We offer business persons, holiday makers, weekend vacationers and contractors, clean comfortable accommodation with quality service.
The Venue accommodates from 1 to 25 single guests sharing and offers short and long term accommodation. We offer special rates to large sporting, social groups and contractors. Children are welcome.
Come enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while taking in panoramic views of Durban’s Bay with the City in the background which comes alive at night with thousands of lights. For your enjoyment play a game of pool or darts or just cool off in the pool or a walk in the garden.
We have safe off road shuffle parking for 3 to 4 vehicles. A single garage is also available for rent.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, all units have covered patios and access to a Braai / Barbecue.
We are close to shops offering a wide range of services. The venue has 6 separate self cater units as follows:
1) The Lodge, Guesthouse sleeps 8 persons sharing.
2) The Dolphin Suite sleeps 5 persons sharing. (Suits a family as design is open plan).
3) The Coral Suite sleeps 3 persons sharing. (Suits a couple with a child or 3 students).
4) The Loft Suite sleeps 4 persons sharing. Sleeps 4 in a 3 x 4m unit with upper and lower rooms and is small and compact (Suits couple with/without children or 4 students).
5) The Cottage is a large wood constructed self cater unit which is 8m x 4m. There is no bathroom attached and guests here are to use the ablutions which has 2 separate showers and 2 separate toilets and basins).
6) The Cabin is a small wood constructed self cater unit and sleeps 3 persons sharing and guests here are to use the ablutions.
Groups sharing can choose a Self-Cater option as well as requesting a full English/Health breakfast at nominal rates.
For the business man we offer a Health, English, or Farmhouse Traditional Breakfast served between 6:30am to 9am and offer special packed lunches for the Early Birds.
Adventure Activities available: Shark cage Diving, Surfing Safari's, Deep Sea Trips and Safari's arranged etc. Golf Tours arranged.
