As the original Hebrew name suggests, EnGedi literally is an oasis. Tucked away in The Cradle of Humankind, this multi-purpose venue is focused on providing an oasis experience just for you.
Be it soon-to-be newlyweds, families, friends, companies, groups, clubs or schools.
Facilities and services include Wi-Fi, digital safe, laundry service, room service, 24 hour generator back-up, 24 hour security, shuttle service (can be arranged at an additional cost), plasma television, DSTV, telephone, mini bar, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer and coffee & tea making facilities.
For those with business in mind, EnGedi’s amenities cater for small private meetings as well as large corporate conferences with up-to-date technology available in all the venue rooms. Unique team building sessions can be discussed with the conference co-ordinator. The venue itself offers three different areas, each with their own electronic equipment and sound system. Smaller conferences or meetings are also catered for and breakaway sessions can be accommodated in the gardens or other available areas throughout the property. Conference equipment includes a data projector (Proxima), notebook and pen, flip charts, room controlled sound system, mineral water, menthol refreshments, and break-away areas for tea breaks and lunches. Non-standard equipment can be arranged. We also have a back-up generator power and secure parking.

"We stayed overnight following a wedding in the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, albeit lacking in any special features that would make it memorable. Our room was next to the children's playground, which isn't the best option if you want to sleep after sunrise on a Sunday morning...."

Our room was next to the children's playground, which isn't the best option if you want to sleep after sunrise on a Sunday morning. The venue is pretty, safe, and easily accessible. We did find the price a bit expensive for the lack of charm, but it was a perfectly acceptable stay.
