Champagne Haven consists of 3 privately owned luxury chalets in the Mount Champagne Resort in the Central Drakensberg. Two are 8 sleepers and one is a 6 sleeper unit.
The chalets accommodate 8 people comfortably. The interiors are furnished in the chic African style with no cost having been spared with regards to comfort and luxury.
For your enjoyment there is the DSTV Hotel bouquet, which includes 3 movie channels, all the sports channels and SABC 1, 2 & 3 and Etv, as well as a DVD player. The kitchens are fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, etc. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier. All rooms have wall mounted heaters for the glorious winter days and nights in the Drakensberg. An outside built in braai (barbecue) area ensures many pleasant times of relaxation while enjoying the breath taking mountain view. To make your holiday complete, the chalets are fully serviced on a daily basis.
Because the chalets are part of a small private timeshare resort guests can relax knowing there is complete security. Facilities include a magnificent on site dam for fishing and canoeing, tennis court, swimming pool, trampoline and children’s playground. Horse riding is also available. There are many beautiful hikes in the immediate proximity as well as more strenuous hikes for the avid hiker in the Monks Cowl area, a 5 minute drive from the resort. Exciting mountain bike trails exist for the mountain biker.
Please note:
* A refundable breakage deposit is required.
* Please be so kind as to give the resort a call to let us know what day and time you will be arriving, especially if you think it will be later than 17H00
* The chalet is fully serviced with a maid coming in on a daily basis to wash dishes, make beds, clean bathrooms, sweep floors, etc.
* No pets allowed under any circumstances.
* On departure, please leave the keys at reception.
* The proprietor, his agent or its employees shall not be held responsible for personal injury, death or loss/theft/ damage to property that may occur during the guest's stay on or about the premises. The guest hereby waives any claims of whatsoever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, death, loss or damage of whatsoever nature, against the proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor's default, negligence or otherwise. The guest agrees to waive all rights to compensation, in respect to injury to persons or loss of or damage to property which may occur whilst on or about the host's premises, and agree to indemnify the Host/Agents in respect of all claims for personal injury or loss of/or damage to property which may occur during their stay on or about the Host's premises.
