Luxury and exclusive offerings in the heart of the Bushveld. Dinkweng Safari Camp is a private ecotourism camp, wildlife conservation and game breeding offering a wide variety of indigenous game on the property including giraffe, kudu, nyala, wildebeest, zebra, waterbuck, impala, eland, and many other animals.

The camp boasts 9 private spacious 3 ensuite bedroom self-catering lodges which are sumptuously furnished; each has private outdoor facilities including a braai area, extended viewing deck and splash pool. Units are 280 m² with open-plan lounge and dining room, all lodges are self-catering and with a fully equipped modern kitchen.

Dinkweng offers Vaalwater Bushveld leisure experiences for families; the amazing views and luxurious appointment are standard options. Alternatively the communal leisure area offers braai facilities, a private lounge, children play area and a boma.

Family offerings include luxury self-catering accommodation, game viewing in the secluded lodge camp and DSTV in every lodge; quality time in the bush. Enjoy mountain biking and various levels of hiking trails in the pristine bush landscape. 'Dirty boots' hikes, our challenging or just do a leisurely walk in the safe game camp. Mountain bike routes can satisfy all levels, from family rides to some extreme routes.

Please note:
* Children aged between 0 and 4 stay free.
* Full pre-payment is due within 4 weeks prior to arrival.
* Short term bookings require full payment 14 days prior to arrival.
* No pets allowed.
* No smoking allowed in lodges.
* No fire arms allowed.
* No private vehicles allowed for game drives.
* No quad or motorbikes.

We also ask all our guests to please not throw bottles or litter out of their vehicles. Please remember that this is a self-catering property and that there is no restaurant or shop on the property. The nearest town is Vaalwater, so if you are on your way and remember that you forgot something there is a nice Spar and Choppies in Vaalwater. It is best to be well prepared as I can guarantee you that you would not like to travel to Vaalwater again because of something forgotten.

The Lodge is not available for parties (matriculations parties, yearend functions, birthday parties, bachelor parties or any other party) as the noise disturbs the neighbours and bush life. This is a place to relax and to enjoy nature, loud music is not allowed. Read More ›

"Definitely not worth the money we spent. The visitors book was filled with all info about what was available at the camp, e.g. a shop, Lady's bar, mountain bikes, game drives, etc. and what attractions/activities they offered to visitors. Unfortunately, it was all utter rubbish. The manager informed us that all these things were actually what they were planning for the future and that there was absolutely nothing available that was mentioned in the booklet. Thank goodness we took along our kids bikes and some games and I found some really nice attractions on my tablet. I would not recommend Dinkweng to anyone."
