Welcome to our Guest Lodge, located in the heart of the Kalahari, right beside the Orange River.
Our Guest Lodge incorporates the finest amenities and state-of-the-art facilities while still maintaining a homelike atmosphere. This great atmosphere is perfected by our awesome view.
Situated beside the Orange River, Kalahari Lion's Rest offers guests amazing views, and a choice of 8 lovely rooms; 1 of which is wheelchair accessible.
Each of the 8 ensuite rooms is furnished with twin beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed, and is equipped with a small fridge and kettle, a TV with DSTV as well as Wi-Fi access. All of the rooms are non-smoking, and some of the rooms are located on the second floor.
Kalahari Lion's Rest is conveniently located for business travellers and holidaymakers passing through or staying in Upington. Attractions and activities range from canoeing on the Orange River, taking a sunset river cruise on Sakkie se Arkie, visiting the Kalahari-Oranje Museum or the Orange River Wine Cellars.
