Gateside, with it's wonderful views, is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque village of Hilton. The beautiful countryside of the Midlands Meander surrounds us & yet we are only 3kms off the N3 highway & 10kms from Pietermaritzburg's CBD.
WiFi over fibre to ensure good internet for our business travellers & holiday visitors alike.
We are within 1km of local shops, restaurants & gyms & not even 3kms to Life Private Hospital.
Hilton College, St Annes, Grace & Etham College as well as Cowan House & Laddsworth primary are all easily accessed from our location as well as local Hilton businesses.
Leisure travellers find us a convenient stopover point as we are midway between the Drakensberg mountains & the KZN beaches.
We have 9 rooms/units, 8 of which are fully self-catered & one is semi self-catered & they range from 2- to 6-sleepers.
The common areas of Gateside include: onsite parking, a spacious garden with large pool & a covered deck to sit out on where you can enjoy the stunning view & use the braai facility provided or there are individual braai areas.
The guest sitting room has a Victorian log fireplace, full Dstv & work &/or meeting space.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory next to the guest deck & we offer various meal options.
A 24-hour turnaround laundry service is provided & 5 of our units are pet-friendly. For our young families, please pre-book campcots.
