Mount Africa guest farm’s priority lies with our rustic, unpolluted fly-fishing and outdoor life. The self-catering unit is situated on the farm Rockville, which is in the beautiful Langkloof Valley between George, Oudtshoorn, Knysna and Port Elizabeth on route 62. This tranquil area is accessible by a 4km dirt road off the main road.
To the north we have the Kougaberge and to the south the famous Tsitsikamma mountains. Thanks to the undeveloped area, you can appreciate the phenomenal Milky Way as it brightens up the heavens above.
Cottage 1 is a snug self-catering unit with 6 beds, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, dining/living room and shaded parking bays. A breath-taking sunrise can be viewed from the porch, which also has braai facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, utensils, glass ware, and wood for a fire. Linen, electric blankets are towels are provided.
Cottage 2 sleeps 2 people in 2 single beds. It has an open plan kitchen, shower and toilet, anutside braai and a carport.
Fly-fishing is just as elegant to watch as it is to practise. Our facilities allow for fly-fishing as well as lure fishing for the professional and beginner anglers. We provide fishing of Rainbow Trout and Black bass throughout the year. Alternatively you can take a hike, have a picnic, go birdwatching, sheep shearing and appreciate the healthy livestock. For the avid golfer, the Langkloof Golf course is a mere 6km from Mount Africa. The landscape is famous for its biodiversity, offering various species of Fauna and Flora.
