The Lodgefe offers affordable B&B accommodation, camping and conference facilities for all, including independent travellers in the Etosha Region of Namibia. Enjoy Namibian hospitality and experience a rural secluded feel, while being less than 2km from Outjo city centre. We have a restaurant and bar for your dinning needs.
Etotongwe Lodge consists of numerous separate rooms scattered like little houses throughout the 1 ha property. All buildings are reminiscent of German colonial architecture with an indigenous garden which has many plants, stone and African art. The lodge is one of the few establishments in the area that offers air-conditioning for the hot Namibian summers. The abundance of local birds together with the wild animals that were raised as orphans, offer a unique close encounter with nature.
Etotongwe Lodge has 21 bedrooms, all air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets and verandahs. Certain rooms are wheelchair accessible and some rooms have a TV with DSTV Hotel bouquet. Camp sites have dedicated power outlets, water points and BBQ as well as communal hot & cold water ablutions with 6 showers and 6 public toilets. There is a lapa with central BBQ. Camp sites are grassed and shaded.
Conferences can be hosted in the Etotongwe Lodge lounge or at the Aloe Guesthouse Conference Venue (+/- 800m away). We have a restaurant and bar on the premises as well as a laundry service available. The restaurant has an a la carte menu (except when a buffet is served) and we also offer plated meal options, breakfast and lunch packs and a braai menu. We also do catering and platters for functions and are able to host weddings, birthday parties, year-end functions and other special occasions. Other facilities include an African Art shop, 50ha Wildlife Camp with orphaned hand raised antelope, secure on-site parking, swimming pool and deck and Wi-Fi internet access.
