Situated in a magnificent secret valley on the slopes of the Slanghoek Mountains. Come appreciate and enjoy the silence and tranquillity we can offer.
Each log cabin has an open-plan kitchen and living area. Two bedrooms each have queen size beds and there is a loft with two single beds.
Please note:
- Pets are not allowed.
- Gas and solar powered only - no electricity.
- Vehicle with high ground clearance needed.

Kliphout can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, a loft room, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The loft room contains 2 single beds. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a gas stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, and a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The cabins do not have electricity but gas, solar and battery power is supplied. Outside, the cottage has a deck with outdoor dining furniture and kettle braai facility. A high clearance vehicle is required in order to reach the cottage.

"I lost a piece of my heart in Platbos. It is spectacular! Mountains, water, vastness, fynbos walks, sunrises that change your life! The cabin was beautiful. White crisp bedding and towels, lovely Webber braai on the patio. Its secluded and romantic. Check in and out at the office was super efficient..."

White crisp bedding and towels, lovely Webber braai on the patio. Its secluded and romantic. Check in and out at the office was super efficient, and all the staff were sweet and friendly. The road to the chalet is a bit rocky, and you need to drive very slow, but my Polo handled it very well.
I am already planning my next visit"
