Come, visit with us and relax in our paradise in the Koo Valley, near Montagu.
Langdam Farm has been on a long journey to get to where it is today, ruins of the original 19th century farm house can still be seen visited, reminding us of the first people who loved this land. Under new ownership in 2015, the farm will continue to provide guests with the experience and quality they have become accustomed to over the last 8 years.
We are 185km from Century City in Cape Town and just 30 minutes from the historic town and hot springs of Montagu, on the wine and brandy tasting route. The surrounding area offers kloofing expeditions, horse riding, golfing, tractor rides and good old traditional South African cuisine and hospitality.
Our main dam has a stone and timber lapa where guests can braai, enjoy the birds (geese, guinea fowl, ducks, peacocks and turkeys), swim, fish for bass, row a boat or just laze in the water on a tractor tube in true farm style. We also have horses, and chickens that children love.
Langdam has something for everyone. It is a wonderful place for people who have an interest in photography, painting, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing, fishing or simply relaxing.
Our campsite is also an excellent venue for events such as team-building or bachelor's parties. It is also the perfect escape for painters, yoga groups or those who are looking to meditate within nature.

Description:
Hidden in the woods, this scenic piece of land has been specially set aside for Glam Camping which has 10 tents set up amongst the trees, spread around Pine Tree Cabin.
The Cabin serves as the shared entertainment area and ablution block with four toilets for the campsite and 2 hot water showers, built-in antique cast iron dover stove, seating and tables, and a place to prepare food and wash dishes.
There is a loft space in Pine Tree Cabin, where hikers and bikers can sleep overnight after a grueling day of trekking on the Langeberg mountains.
Each Glamping tent sleeps two guests. We have 7 units with double beds and 3 units with 2 single beds.The tents are 3m by 6m in diameter and comes with electricity and lighting. Each unit has braai facilities and any other other cooking can be done in Pine Tree cabin which has a fridge, microwave, gas stove burners and the essential cooking utensils.
All linen and bath towels are provided.
