All three cottages are entirely built from locally-sourced stone, offering guests a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hot inside and outside shower, percale linen and towels, basic locally-produced soaps and creams, hair drier, ceiling fan, indoor fireplace, outside braai, sun loungers, sun umbrella for those wonderful hot summer days and a beautiful private natural plunge pool.
All rooms are non smoking but you are welcome to smoke on the patio. Gas oven and stove to allow the cottage to be as off-grid as much as possible (no microwave). LED lighting throughout.
Please note:
***No pets allowed due to the farm animals.
***Card facility available.
***Wi-fi available.
***Check in time is from 2.30 pm to 7 pm (welcome to contact us should this not be suitable) and check out by 11 am unless otherwise organised.
***Children can be accommodated by prior arrangement and at the owners discretion (extra fee charged).

"Olive Stone Farm Cottage - what a treasure. To find a very well cared for and private farm cottage virtually in the middle of Montagu sweetened our Easter weekend. It is central enough and one feels safe to walk to restaurants in the evening. Nevertheless, the kitchen is very well equipped, should you be in the mood to wear the chef's apron. The decor is eclectic/elegant/rustic and oozes cosiness. Sadly, the weather god wasn't too kind and we didn't make use of the little pool. But we enjoyed the short visits of two of the dogs and ravished the farm eggs and rusks. Next time, we will definitely take up the offer of picking vegetables from the farmyard. "
