18 Coogee Bay Beachfront Apartment is a self-catering sea-facing apartment in a secure apartment complex located in Gonubie, a little seaside village on the estuary of the Gonubie River, just 8 km from East London. Gonubie offers scenic walks, beautiful ocean and lagoon views, indigenous fauna and flora, and some of the best swimming beaches along the Wild Coast.
The apartment is a “stone’s throw” from the ocean at the entrance to the Gonubie boardwalk and within walking distance from the local coffee shop and pancake house all overlooking the ocean.
The fully furnished apartment (approximately 60m square in size) can accommodate 4 guests, and comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a king-size extra length bed, and a double bed sleeper couch in the lounge area. The bathroom is fitted with a shower-over-bath.
The open-plan kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, induction stove, oven, convection microwave, 6 place under counter dish washer, filter coffee machine, washing machine and all the necessary kitchen necessities including non-stick pots, pans, cutlery and utensils.
The lounge opens onto the balcony which offers lovely views of the ocean and beach and a gas braai facility on the balcony. A hammock is provided for guests to lie and relax on the balcony overlooking the bay.
The lounge has a 55 inch Smart TV with Netflix and Showmax movie and TV channels on demand and free high speed internet/WiFi (10MB line). For guests with laptops there is also a comfortable work station with a 32 inch external screen and wireless keyboard and mouse for use during your stay.
During times of load shedding where the electricity is off, there is a backup inverter for all the apartment lights and low voltage electronics. The lights will function as normal during power outages so you are not left in the dark and low voltage electronics (laptops, cell phones and the TV) can still be powered for an estimated 8-10 hours during power outages.
The complex has communal outdoor braai facilities and a secure covered parking area behind a remote access controlled gate.
The apartment and balcony is strictly non-smoking.
