Breede River Resort and Fishing Lodge is situated at the mouth of the Breede River. Come and experience friendly village life that offers food for the soul and a place to simply relax and unwind.
All of the above units have satellite television (12 channels) and most of them have coffee making facilities.
Braai facilities are available, some are communal but may be used by all guests. Some units have balconies where one can sit and enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or enjoy a sundowner whilst enjoying the sunset. Some balconies have a sea/river view. Enjoy a family day at our pool whilst enjoying a braai.
Witsand offers 4km of white sandy beaches, surrounded by magnificent species of this Cape Fynbos Floral Region World Heritage Site. Witsand is a popular resort for fishermen and other holidaymakers. Whether it’s the desire to be close to nature and its gifts, or to participate in adventure-eco and sporting activities, Witsand has it all.
Guests can fish, either by boat or from the shore. Boat trips are offered and the Pili Pili Adventure Centre offers kite surfing lessons, stand up paddling and canoeing. And if this is too fast a paste, enjoy a lovely picnic on the white sandy beach or visit the tidal pool.
We have a satellite post office, petrol station and two general dealers that serves your basic needs. Everything in Witsand is within walking distance from each other, which includes various churches, restaurants, bowls club, angling club etcetera.
