A rehabilitation farm for Vervet monkeys, Baboons and other wildlife in the malaria-free Waterberg offering you a unique experience between ree living Baboons and Vervet Monkeys in the beautiful Bushveld. We have 3 lovely thatched brick built chalets for you to stay in at Bambelela!
They are situated right down in the valley, near the Groot Nylsoog River, just before you reach our Animal Rehabilitation Area and are in a lovely peaceful spot to relax, unwind, read and sunbathe, each with their own braai (barbecue) facilities and patio.
At the chalets we have a DSTV dish and TV for you to bring along your own DSTV decoder and DSTV card. Full DSTV viewing is available at our pool lapa (thatched hut). Each chalet has an Info A-Z booklet in the living room, with information and advice to help you get the most out of your stay.
Children under 10 years must stay under adult supervision due to the free roaming wildlife on this farm.

The chalet has everything you need, but if you have a lot of meat I suggest just taking a big bowl along and maybe a braai grid. The monkeys were so cute was a treat to go and meet them and cuddle them. The silence in the bush was amazing. I must for anyone who craves a bush weekend with furry friends. "
