The lodge is set on the banks of the Luangwa River, in an ancient grove of Leadwood trees at the confluence of the Luangwa and Lutaba Rivers. It has a magnificent view of the Luangwa River as it meanders through the valley as wild and untamed as Africa of old. Built out of traditional local materials, hand crafted timber and thatched bungalows all have ensuite short toilet, can be configured as doubles or family with a magnificent view of the river.
The Lodge is within the North Luangwa National Park, which has a wealth of wild game. Hippo and Elephant roam the bush near the Lodge and Lions roar you to sleep at night, a resident pack of Wild Dogs are often spotted near the lodge and the Rhino sanctuary is very close. Come to one of the last real wild places and set your spirt free.
We also have self-catering and self-drive camping area in a separate area.
