The tranquil and secluded venue with its thatch roofs has a unique ambience and is the perfect venue for birthday parties, family reunions, club/team/group get-togethers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, conferences and workshops. We accommodate a total of 22 overnight guests and up to 100 guests for functions. Most resorts cannot offer the privacy and exclusivity you will find here at Stone Hounds' Lodge. Absolutely ideal for small groups who need privacy whilst entertaining and socializing with friends & family, colleagues or co-members. You can book the lodge for your exclusive use, offering you private use of the entertainment / recreational areas (dining/function room, bar, patio and pool) for up to a maximum of 100 guests for the day and overnight accommodation for up to 22 guests. Prices vary depending whether you prefer the catering or self-catering option. Owner managed, personal service with a smile, great food and affordable rates guarantees an unforgettable and comfortable experience to visitors. In-Room facilities include: coffee/tea station, mini fridge and couch or chairs. Rooms are NOT equipped for cooking or preparing meals. However, you are welcome to bring along pre-prepared food and heat it up in the microwave oven in the communal dining room area. There is also a communal braai area which you are welcome to use (bring your own cutlery, crockery, cooler box with ice and wood/charcoal).
The cosy thatched dining area/function room (125 m2) with pizza oven and built-in braai can accommodate up to 40 guests. Relax in our large thatched bar (96 m2) (with pool table and dart board) and experience breath taking sunsets from the spacious patio (36 m2) overlooking the pool and veld. The thatched roof function hall (190 m2) has a natural stone floor, a cosy fireplace for colder days and two separate food station areas (2 x 12 m2). Perfect for wedding receptions and conferences accommodating up to 100 guests. A fully equipped kitchen with walk-in fridge, freezer, gas stove/oven, convection oven and microwave is available to guests booking the whole lodge and prefer to self-cater. Alternatively, scrumptious meals are provided by our in-house caterer. Cash bar available upon request.
