Kingfisher Blue on Milkwood is situated in the quiet suburb of Mount Anderson, in Sabie. Hosts are Peter and Lyn Esser.
The comfortably furnished, fully equipped private unit, is the ideal base for those wishing to explore the many scenic and tourist attractions in and around Sabie. Kruger National Park, God's Window, Blyde River Canyon, the historical town of Pilgrims Rest, the Graskop Gorge, and a variety of waterfalls, are all within a scenic drive from Sabie.
Take a trip to nearby Hazyview, and ride on an African elephant! Or simply chill.
The tastefully decorated unit has two single beds, an antique sleeper couch, small fridge, microwave, table cutlery and crockery, for simple meals, if the guest does not want to make use of the many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The unit boasts some of owner Lyn's art. A full bathroom, with shower and huge bath, adjoins the unit.
An optional extra is a scrumptious breakfast served on the deck of the main house, which overlooks the nearby Drakensberg range - or served in the room.
Little pamper surprises are also provided to welcome guests. We can also pack a picnic basket! Lyn - a local artist - also offers Creative Art Therapy weekends or workshops, with accommodation and meals on the property. Learn how to explore your creativity - no experience or talent needed! (A minimum of 3 guests is required for these weekends/workshops.)
