The FarSideFarm consists of self-catering and boutique bed and breakfast venues offering classic, upmarket and homely country accommodation, all with modern appointments and facilities, nestled in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal ‘s Midlands Meander.
B&B:
Spacious bedrooms, magnificently appointed with antique furnishings, ball and claw baths with Victorian-style brass fittings, quality linen, electric blankets, under floor heating and DSTV.
One of the rooms, which also boast all the same furnishings, fittings and facilities - has a comfortable sleeper couch so that young children can be accommodated with parents.
Self Catering Cottage:
The self-catering cottage has two caringly appointed bedrooms nestled on either side of a cosy open plan living area which opens onto a patio with magnificent views over a 1 1/2 hectare trout dam. These spacious, homely bedrooms are equipped with antique furnishings, quality linen, under floor heating, electric blankets and televisions.
Area and Attractions:
Access to the famous Midlands Meander, golf courses, shops, art galleries, craft centres, restaurants, country pubs, scenic walks, fly fishing, horse riding and the country's top private schools.
The FarSideFarm boasts a well-stocked and well-cared-for fly dam. Rod fees apply – these are seasonally adjusted. You need to have your own equipment. Fishing is barbless and on a Catch-and-Release basis only.
