Olijvenhuis is located on a farm 5km outside Beaufort West and offers spacious accommodation ideally suited for a family and makes a great overnight spot when traveling.
The cottage surrounded by an olive tree orchard is fully equipped and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 persons at a time. The spacious family room comprises 1 double bed and 2 single beds a wardrobe a hairdryer a fan electric blankets a heater white linen and towels. The bathroom has a shower toilet and basin and there is a separate guest toilet.
The open plan living area holds comfortable seating as well as a day bed and a single bed for 2 additional guests there is a TV with DSTV channels for guest entertainment as well as an air-conditioner and fan.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave fridge coffee and tea making facilities crockery and cutlery. The living room has an indoor braai which can also be used as a fireplace in winter. There is a dining room table with seating for 6 persons
There is an outdoor entertainment area with a boma and seating for 10 persons. There is also a large outdoor braai braai grids are supplied and potjiskos pots are available for hire. On the side of the house there is a covered parking and there is ample open parking for other vehicles.
Olijvenhuis has panoramic views of the gigantic Nuweveld Mountain which was once home to the San people. Guests can also do some star gazing at night in the clean air
In the town of Beaufort west guests can visit the Chris Barnard museum and also admire all of the historic buildings the town has to offer Donkey cart rides can be arranged on request and there are numerous shops and restaurants that guests can visit.
