Boschoek Farmstay offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a spacious 4 bedroom farmhouse situated on a 160 hectare working avocado and macadamia nut farm. Boschoek Farm is located off the R36 between Tzaneen and Modjadjiskloof in Limpopo down a 4km dirt road.
This is the original homestead and is part of a complex of 3 homes.
Enjoy the large lounge with pub, fireplace and pool table. The spacious kitchen includes a dining nook and is fully equipped (stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher). Games, puzzles and a box of toys for young children are housed in the TV cabinet. Enjoy the dartboard, pool table and ping pong table. A basic DSTV package is provided or bring your own decoder. There is a DVD player and DVDs. Look out towards the pool and mountains from the front veranda. Free Wi-Fi.
One master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a queen size bed. The second master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom which is wheelchair friendly. The third and fourth bedrooms have 2 single beds each. The third bathroom has a walk in shower (wheelchair friendly), basin and a toilet. There are 2 additional single beds in the room beside the first master bedroom.
Enjoy the swimming pool, fish in the dam, mountain bike from the front door, play pool or table tennis, or relax and enjoy the surroundings. Guests are also welcome to visit the working avocado and macadamia nut farm. A diversity of wildlife can be found on the farm, Hippopotamus can regularly be seen in the dam, and the cry of Fish Eagle can often be heard. On a night drive, you may even spot Porcupine, Side-striped Jackal, Bushbuck, Duiker, Genet or a civet cat. Thick Tailed, as well as Lesser, Bushbaby visit occasionally at night. We also have the nocturnal and rarely seen White tailed Mongoose on the farm. Boschoek Farmstay is situated 1.5 hours from Kruger National Park's Phalaborwa Gate. This is a non-smoking establishment. Guests may smoke outside.
