"The backpackers is close to Hluhluwe-Imfolosi gate and good for this. The staff are pleasant and helpful and there have been some improvements since my last visit but it remains somewhat ramshackle and needs attention to the little things. Only one light was working in the kitchen, and there is a lack of dessert spoons and small pots. The freezer portion of the fridge had ice coming out so the door did not close ( though this was addressed whilst I was there) . There are very few glasses for cold and alcoholic drinks, and only about 6 mugs. The sink in the toilet was blocked so the water did not drain out, and the door of one of the toilets did not lock. These are minor things, easily addressed,, but they need to be . "

"We conveniently met the owner near to false bay and he was kind enough to change his plans and pick us up later in the day and bring us to the backpackers.. it was in a really nice location with plenty of wildlife around and they can arrange good tours at a good price.

All the staff are friendly and very helpful, they have loads of useful information for the surrounding areas and even gave us a lift to our next destination.
Would highly recommend this BackpackerÕs to anyone staying in the area or wanting to do a safari in the nearby park.. would definitely come back and stay again :)"
